Reset
Usage Scenario
When a Step retains or records running status during repeated execution, such as pallet pattern indices, placed objects, or vision recognition caches, and subsequent operations need to begin from a clean initial state, a Reset Step should be used.
For example, in a multi-pallet sequential palletizing task, a Reset Step should be used after each pallet is completed to clear the Palletizing Step’s index and “placed objects” state, ensuring the next pallet starts from an initial state.
Instructions
This Step is usually used to reset the parameters of the Counter Step, the Reuse Vision Result parameter, etc. Since the resettable parameters depend on the specific Step types and their parameter configurations in a project, the actual parameters that can be reset should be verified in the software.
The process of configuring this Step is as follows:
-
Add a “Reset” Step at the workflow node where the reset operation is required.
-
In this Item to be reset parameter panel, click Configure to open the “Reset Step Parameters” configuration window.
In the current project, Steps that can be reset are displayed in groups in the Step list on the left. Once the Step group is unfolded, click the specific Step, and the parameters of the selected Step that can be reset will be displayed in the parameter list on the right. -
Select the Step(s) and parameter(s) that need to be reset.
-
Click Confirm.
Then you can see the Step(s) and parameter(s) that need to be reset in the Item to be reset parameter panel. When the project executes to the “Reset” Step, the status of the selected Steps and their parameters will be reset.
