Function

This Step transfers data to other projects.

Usage Scenario

This Step is a general data transmission Step. It is usually used when data needs to be transferred across projects to achieve collaboration between projects.

Input and Output

This Step has no input or output ports.

Parameter Description

Parameter Description

Port List

Description: This parameter is used to set the output data port for the project to receive data.

Instruction: Click the Open the editor button and configure Step ports in the Port Setting Assistant window. The detailed instructions are as follows:

  1. Select the called project from the drop-down list of Opened project.

  2. Select the Step whose data you want to transfer from the drop-down list of Step Name.

  3. Select the port number of the called Step in Port No. to specify the data items to be transferred. Ports are numbered from left to right.

  4. After configuration, click Add. In this case, a record including the project path, Step name, and port number will be displayed in the window.

Max Timeout [s]

Description: This parameter specifies the maximum wait time for data transmission. An error will occur if the timeout occurs.
Default value: 100

Stop Early

Description: This parameter is used to control whether the called project stops executing immediately after data transmission.
Default setting: Unselected
Instruction: If this option is selected, the called project will stop immediately after all data to be transmitted is generated, and no further Steps will be executed. If this option is not selected, the called project will continue to run until the end of the process.

Run Last Project in Current Thread

Description: Once this option is selected, the execution complexity of nested multi-layer projects can be reduced.
Default setting: Unselected
