Introduction of Product and Documentation

Mech-Eye Industrial 3D Camera (“camera”) is the structured-light 3D camera developed by Mech-Mind. Through Mech-Eye SDK or third-party machine vision software, you can obtain 2D images, depth maps, and point clouds from the camera.

This documentation provides contents including the software user manual of Mech-Eye SDK, hardware user manual of the camera, technical specifications of the camera, and troubleshooting guidance.

If you use the full Mech-Mind solution (including the camera hardware, Mech-Eye SDK, Mech-Vision, etc) to guide the robot, please check out Learning Guidance for 3D Robot Guidance instead.

Camera Hardware Selection

Select the camera hardware, including the camera, camera accessories, and other accessories according to this section.

Using Camera

Through Mech-Eye SDK or third-party machine vision software, you can connect to the camera, acquire data, and adjust parameters. Meanwhile, the camera also supports the GenICam standard and provides the GenICam generic programming interface.

Mech-Eye API is the application programming interface of the camera, available in C++, C#, and Python. It is applicable on both Windows and Ubuntu.
