Thank you for using Mech-Eye 3D Laser Profiler!
Introduction of Product and Documentation
Mech-Eye 3D Laser Profiler (“laser profiler”) is the 3D laser profiler developed by Mech-Mind. Through Mech-Eye SDK or third-party machine vision software, you can obtain intensity images, depth maps, and point clouds from the laser profiler.
This documentation provides contents including the software user manual of Mech-Eye SDK, hardware user manual of the laser profiler, and troubleshooting guidance.

Software User Manual
Through Mech-Eye SDK or third-party machine vision software, you can connect to the laser profiler, acquire data, and adjust parameters. Meanwhile, the laser profiler also supports the GenICam standard and provides the GenICam generic programming interface.
Mech-Eye Viewer
Mech-Eye Viewer provides an easy-to-use graphical user interface. You can adjust parameters and check the effects immediately.
The following topic provides instructions on using Mech-Eye Viewer:
Mech-Eye API
Mech-Eye API is the application programming interface of the laser profiler, available in C++, C#, and Python. It is applicable on both Windows and Ubuntu.
Based on Mech-Eye API, you can develop your own laser profiler control program:
Through Mech-Eye API, you can also use third-party machine vision software (such as Cognex VisionPro) to control the laser profiler and obtain data:
GenICam Interface
Third-party machine vision software compliant with the GenICam standard (such as HALCON) can control the laser profiler through the GenICam interface, which lowers the difficulty of integration into existing systems.
The following topic provides instructions on using the HALCON samples:
