Compose Quaternions from Axes and Angles

Function

This Step combines the Vector3D type vectors and the rotation angles into rotation vectors.

Usage Scenario

This Step is a general rotation vector composing Step. No fixed usage scenarios.

Input and Output

Rotation Axis

Vector3D[]

Axes input at this port will be used to create the rotation vectors.

Rotation Angle

Number[]

Angles input at this port will be used to create the rotation vectors.

Resulted Quaternions

Quaternion[]

Created rotation vectors, in quaternions.

Parameter Description

Parameter Description

Axis

Parameter description: Customize the rotation axis. This parameter is displayed when the input port "Rotation Axis" is not connected.

Default value: 0, 0, 1

Rotation Angle

Parameter description: The angle to rotate around the axis. This parameter is displayed when the input port "Rotation Angle" is not connected.

Default value: 180.000 °
