This section introduces how to use the port configuration tool in the "Frame Transformation Calculator" Step.

Introduction

This tool is used to customize the input and output port structure of the "Frame Transformation Calculator" Step. By configuring the known pose relationships between frames as input ports and specifying the target frame pose relationships to be calculated as output ports, the system will automatically build a frame relationship network and calculate the required frame transformation results. The number of ports and frame relationships can be flexibly adjusted based on actual project requirements.

Usage Procedure

When using the "Frame Transformation Calculator" Step in practice, the input and output ports should be properly configured based on project requirements. The following sections describe how to configure input ports and output ports respectively.

Configure Input Ports

Input ports are used to input known pose relationships, i.e., the spatial transformation of one frame relative to another.

Each input port requires specifying the names of the source frame and the destination frame to build the frame transformation network. Users can add, edit, or delete input ports in the input port configuration interface.

Configure Output Ports

Output ports are used to define the target frame pose relationships to be calculated.

Each output port requires specifying the source frame and the destination frame. The system will automatically calculate the corresponding pose transformation results based on the configured input port relationships and output them. Users can add, edit, or delete output ports in the output port configuration interface.

When configuring input and output ports, please note the following rules:

  • The maximum number of input or output ports is 16. No more ports can be added once the limit is reached.

  • Each port must have both source frame and destination frame names specified. Within the same project, all frame names must be unique, and the source name and destination name cannot be the same.

  • The target frame names used in output ports must already be defined in the input ports.

Click the OK button to complete the port configuration. The system will automatically update the corresponding input and output ports.
