Save Data to Files
Workflow
The process of configuring this Step is shown below:

Configure the input. Connect the Step ports in the graphical programming workspace or select the input under Input in the parameter configuration panel.

Set the root path, subfolders, files, and other parameters for saving data.

Run the Step, and then you can view saved files in the specified path.
Input Description
The input of this Step is the output of other Steps.
| This Step does not support saving surface data. If you need to save surface data, run the Save 3D Data Step. |

Subfolder Settings |
Click Add a subfolder to add up to five subfolders incrementally. Naming rules: choose to name subfolders based on date, judgment result, and product identifier.

File Name Prefix |
Set a prefix for the saved file. Enter the string data manually or from an external Step. When the External Step Input parameter is selected, the result of the external Step needs be input to this Step as the file name prefix. Only string data is allowed. |

File Unique identifier |
Specify a unique identifier for the file using either a Timestamp or index.

Image Storage Type |
Set the file format for saving images. Only visible when saving image data. Save images in your preferred format: JPEG files (.jpg), JPEG (.jpeg), PNG (.png), BMP (.bmp), or TIFF (.tiff).

Asynchronous Saving |
When this parameter is selected, saving will be executed asynchronously in the background. The project’s completion status will no longer wait for this step to finish. |
