Use Deviation Viewer in Mech-MSR
Prerequisites
When the Measure Surface Deviation Step is used in a vision project, you need to use the deviation viewer to view and calculate the deviation results.
In the parameter configuration panel of this Step, click the Open the viewer button under Deviation Calculation Result to open the deviation viewer window.
Before opening the window, ensure that you have specified both the model file and JSON file paths in the parameter configuration panel of the Measure Surface Deviation Step. Otherwise, the deviation between the surface data and the model cannot be calculated. |
Workflow
-
Go to the Folder list in the upper-left corner of the viewer. You can rename the default folder or click the + New button to create a new folder to store the configuration data and calculated results.
After selecting a folder, you can Rename or Delete it via the right-click context menu. -
On the toolbar, click the Circle ROI Tool
. Then, hold down the left mouse button in the selection area, drag the crosshair cursor to define a circular ROI, and release the left mouse button to finish the selection. You can select multiple ROIs.
-
Adjust the circular ROI(s). You can adjust the size and position of a circular ROI in the following ways:
-
On the toolbar, click the Select Tool
. Then, click the ROI that you want to adjust. Vertices will appear on the edge of the ROI.
-
Press and hold the left mouse button and drag the ROI to change its location, during which
turns into
. Release the left mouse button to finish the move.
-
Hover the cursor over a vertex, and when the cursor changes to
, press and hold the left mouse button and drag the vertex to change the size of the ROI. Release the left mouse button to finish.
-
-
In the parameter panel, adjust the parameters under ROI Settings to fine-tune the size and position of the circular ROI(s).
-
-
Check the mean deviation in the ROI. Each time an ROI is selected, the mean deviation value will be displayed directly below it.
-
After ROI selection and adjustment, click the Save button in the lower-right corner of the window to save the relevant data.
You can then close the window. Go back to the Measure Surface Deviation Step, select the saved data folder under Deviation Calculation Result in the parameter configuration panel, and then run the Step to obtain the Feature Points and Deviation results.
