Manage Custom Communication Services

On the Service Configuration tab of Communication Configuration, you can perform the following operations on custom communication services:

Start and Stop a Custom Communication Service

After configuring a custom communication service, click the toggle switch of that service in the service list.

  • communication setting enabled icon: Indicates that the corresponding communication service is running.

  • communication setting disabled icon: Indicates that the corresponding communication service is stopped.

  • When the service starts successfully or fails to start, related logs are displayed on the Console tab in the software log panel.

  • If the service fails to start, check whether the configuration is correct, or try restarting the software.

  • To modify the configuration of a running custom communication service, stop the service first.

Delete a Custom Communication Service

To delete a specified custom communication service, perform the following steps:

  1. Make sure that the service has been stopped.

  2. In the service list, right-click the service, and then select Delete.

Deleting a service also deletes the trigger configurations associated with it.

Rename a Custom Communication Service

To rename a specified custom communication service, perform the following steps:

  1. In the service list, right-click the service, and then select Rename.

  2. In the Rename dialog box, modify the service name, and then click OK.
