Description

Use this Step to store the data to a local directory.

Usage Scenario

This Step is a general data storage Step.

Root Path

Data storage path.

Subfolder Settings

Click Add a subfolder to add up to five subfolders incrementally.

Naming rules: choose to name subfolders based on date, judgment result, and product identifier.

  • Date: current save date.

    • Date format: either YYYY-MM-DD or YYYYMMDD.

    • Validity: Subfolder retention period. Set to 7 days, 30 days, or no expiration.

  • Result: OK or NG. Input from an external Step (Bool).

  • Product identifier: can be entered manually or from an external Step (string data).

    • Input from an external Step: when this parameter is selected, the result of an external Step needs be input to this Step as the subfolder name. Only string data is allowed.

    • Product identifier: Enter manually the information as the product identifier.

  • Subfolder levels are based on the root path, not the system root directory.

  • Add at most one subfolder per category when naming by date or judgment result.

File Name Prefix

Set a prefix for the saved file. Enter the string data manually or from an external Step.

When the External Step Input parameter is selected, the result of the external Step needs be input to this Step as the file name prefix. Only string data is allowed.

File Unique identifier

Specify a unique identifier for the file using either a Timestamp or index.

  • Timestamp:

    Validity: file retention period. Set to 7 days, 30 days, or no expiration.

  • Index:

    • Max Saved Files: The maximum number of files that can be saved (1–1000).

    • Overflow handling: Treatments for exceeding the Max Saved Files, including Overwrite oldest and Stop saving.

  • If the validity of a file exceeds that of its parent subfolder, the files is also deleted when the subfolder expires. Set relevant parameters carefully.

  • When Max Saved Files is reached, if Overwrite oldest is selected, the oldest files are overwritten, and the file number restart from 0.

Image Storage Type

Set the file format for saving images. Only visible when saving image data.

Save images in your preferred format: JPEG files (.jpg), JPEG (.jpeg), PNG (.png), BMP (.bmp), or TIFF (.tiff).

  • Depth maps can only be saved as PNG files (.png) or TIFF files (.tiff).

  • Color images cannot be saved as TIFF files (.tiff).

Asynchronous Saving

When this parameter is selected, saving will be executed asynchronously in the background. The project’s completion status will no longer wait for this step to finish.
