Function Description

This step inserts additional intermediate points between trajectory points to make the trajectory smoother and more continuous.

Usage Scenario

This step is suitable for scenarios where distances between trajectory points are large or trajectories are not smooth enough, for example trajectory optimization before high-precision welding or grinding tasks.

Input and Output

Input

Input Port Data Type Description

Trajectory

Pose[]

The trajectory entered at this port will be interpolated.

Output

Output Port Data Type Description

Interpolated Trajectory

Pose[]

Interpolated trajectory.

Parameter Description

Parameter Description

Maximum Distance

Description: Defines the maximum allowed distance between adjacent trajectory points. If distance between two points exceeds this value, intermediate points are inserted automatically.

Default value: 10.00 mm
