Function

This Step calculates the areas of multiple mask images.

Usage Scenario

This Step is used for subsequent judgment or processing based on the mask area, such as sorting by area values or filtering.

This Step usually follows a mask processing Step. Please select the succeeding Step according to the actual requirement.

Parameter Description

Parameter	Description
Area Calculation Settings	Description: This parameter is used to set the method for calculating the area. Value list: FilledContour, NonZeroPixel FilledContour: The contour filling method, which calculates the area based on the outer contour of the non-zero region in the mask image. This is used to extract the outer contour of the non-zero region and calculate the filling area within this contour. NonZeroPixel: Non-zero pixel counting. The area is calculated based on the number of non-zero pixels in the mask image, which is the total area of the actual valid pixels. Default value: NonZeroPixel

Description: This parameter is used to set the method for calculating the area.

Value list: FilledContour, NonZeroPixel

FilledContour: The contour filling method, which calculates the area based on the outer contour of the non-zero region in the mask image. This is used to extract the outer contour of the non-zero region and calculate the filling area within this contour.
NonZeroPixel: Non-zero pixel counting. The area is calculated based on the number of non-zero pixels in the mask image, which is the total area of the actual valid pixels.
