Function

General data merging Step.

function description

Usage Scenario

This Step is used to merge data of types, such as pose and number.

Input and Output

Input

Input ports Data type Description

Unnamed

Abstract

Any data type.

Unnamed

Abstract

Same data type as the first input port.

Output

Output ports Data type Description

Unnamed

Abstract

Same data type as input.

Parameter Description

Parameter Description

Port Number (1–16)

Parameter description: This parameter specifies the number of input ports for this Step. For example, when the number of input ports is 3, the three input data items will be merged.
Default value: 2

N-th Dimension of Unpacked Variables in Vector

Parameter description: This parameter controls how data is merged in an array, i.e., at which “layer” the data is concatenated.

Default value: 0

Tuning recommendation: The dimensions are as follows.

  • Dimension 0: Place the input as a whole into a new array. When merging point clouds, it is recommended to set the dimension to 0.

  • Dimension 1: Concatenate the input onto the same layer. When strings or numbers need to be merged, it is recommended to set the dimension to 1.

  • Higher dimensions: For multidimensional data, merge at deeper layers.
