Function

This Step rotates specified axes of input poses to specified position(s).

Usage Scenario

This Step is a general pose rotation Step. No fixed usage scenarios.

Input and Output

Input port Data type Description

Original Poses

Pose[]

Poses input to this port will have specified axes rotated to specified position(s).

Customized Points

Vector3D[] -

Reference position for rotating the pose. If this port is not used, the settings of parameters under "Reference Translation Settings" will be taken as a specified position.

Poses with specified axes pointing to specified position(s).

Parameter Description

Axis to Rotate

Parameter description: Set the axis of the pose that needs to be rotated to point toward the reference position.

Value list: X, Y, Z.

Instruction: Select the pose axis to point toward the reference position according to actual requirements.

Fixed Axis

Parameter description: Set the axis that remains fixed during rotation.

Value list: X, Y, Z.

Instruction: Select the axis that does not change during rotation according to actual requirements.

Symmetry Settings

Parameter Description

Consider Rotational Symmetry

Parameter description: Set whether to consider object symmetry when rotating poses.

Symmetry Angle (0–360)

Parameter description: Set the symmetry angle of the object, measured in degrees (°).

When Reference Points Came From Input

Parameter Description

Reference Point Data Source

Parameter description: Set the data source of the input reference point.

Value list: Pose, Vector3d.

Instruction: Select the corresponding option according to the data type connected to the input port.

Reference Translation Settings

Parameter Description

Reference Frame

Parameter description: Set the coordinate system type of the reference position.

X Coordinate

Parameter description: Set the coordinate value of the reference position on the X-axis.
Default value: 0.000 mm.

Y Coordinate

Parameter description: Set the coordinate value of the reference position on the Y-axis.
Default value: 0.000 mm.

Z Coordinate

Parameter description: Set the coordinate value of the reference position on the Z-axis.
Default value: 0.000 mm.

Input Check Settings

Parameter Description

Ignore When Pose Center Same as Reference Point

Parameter description: Set whether to ignore the case where the reference point coincides with the pose center.
