Failure to Open the Target Object Editor

Symptom:

When attempting to open the target object editor, a pop-up window displays the error message “Failed to open the target object editor.”

Affected Software Versions:

Mech-Vision 2.0.0 and later versions

Possible Causes:

  • The target object editor is already open.

  • The target object editor was not properly closed in the last session and is still running in the background process.

Solution:

Please follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Check the taskbar for the target object editor icon:

    • If the icon is present, close the editor and then reopen it.

    • If the icon is not present, proceed to step 2.

  2. Open Task Manager and end the process of target object editor.
