Function

This Step downsamples the object surface point cloud and model point cloud, and then calculates the difference between the two to eliminate the influence on calculation caused by the inconsistent density of the object point cloud and the model point cloud.

Usage Scenario

This Step is a custom Step for special scenarios.

Input and Output

  • Input:

    1. Point cloud of the object whose profile needs to be calculated

    2. Model point cloud for calculating profile

  • Output:

    1. Maximum height difference between the object and the model point cloud

    2. Height difference between the object and the model point cloud at the center point

    3. Line segment used to label the location of the maximum height difference

    4. Line segment used to label the height difference at the center point

    5. Model point cloud within the region of interest

    6. Object point cloud within the region of interest

    7. Height differences between the object point cloud and the model point cloud at specified points
