Could Not Save Point Cloud Files or Images
Could Not Import Point Clouds in “Matching Model and Pick Point Editor”
Symptom:
Could not import point cloud files in the “Matching Model and Pick Point Editor”.
Affected Software Versions:
All versions
Possible Cause:
The operating system language of the IPC is not compatible with the characters of the current file being read/written.
For example, under an English operating system, the path to your point cloud file might include Chinese characters or other special characters.
Solution:
Save the point cloud file in a path that includes only Latin characters(the absolute path).
Could Not Read Point Clouds or Images in the “Read Point Cloud V2” or “Read Images V2” Step
Symptom:
Point clouds cannot be read when using the "Read Point Cloud V2" step, or images cannot be read when using the "Read Images V2" step.

Possible Cause:

An unstable USB flash drive connection might cause the failure to read or write files. When that happens, the images or point cloud files saved in the USB flash drive could not be read.
Workaround:
Avoid continuous read/write operations of images or point cloud files through a USB flash drive.
