Specify Graphics Card to Be Used
Mech-Mind software has a relatively high requirement on graphics cards. When the IPC has an NVIDIA graphics card and other graphics cards installed, Mech-Vision and other software may have issues such as abnormal display. When this occurs, you will need to specify the graphics card to be used by the software in NVIDIA Control Panel and modify the relevant settings.
Follow these steps to specify the graphics card to be used by the software:
-
In the search box in the task bar, search for NVIDIA Control Panel to open it.
-
In the left panel, select Manage 3D Settings in the 3D settings section.
-
In the right panel, switch to the Program Settings tab.
-
In 1. Select a program to customize section, click the Add button to open the Add window.
-
Select the software that needs to use the NVIDIA graphics card, and then click the Add Selected Program button at the bottom:
-
Mech-Vision: Select mmind_vision.exe.
-
Mech-Viz: Select mmind_viz.exe.
-
Mech-Eye Viewer: Select Mech-Eye Viewer.exe.
TIP: You can also click the Browse button in the lower right, then navigate to the installation path of the software, and select the corresponding software. -
-
Set related parameters in 3. Specify the settings for this program:
-
Set OpenGL rendering GPU to Use global setting (Auto-select).
-
Set Power management mode to Prefer maximum performance.
