Communication Component 1.8.2 Release Notes

This document introduces the new features, improvements, and resolved issues of communication component 1.8.2.

New Features

Robot Program Loader

The loader is designed to help you automate robot program loading, thus avoiding the tedious process of manual loading and effectively reducing the problems caused by manual errors.

The loader provides the following main features:

  • Auto-load master-control programs to robots;

  • Auto-load standard interface programs or standard interface example programs to robots;

  • Quickly back up robot programs.

Currently, the loader supports only ABB and Kawasaki robots.

Han’s Robots Adapted for Master-Control Communication

Communication component 1.8.2 supports Han’s robots in Master-Control communication.

Resolved Issues

The following issue has been resolved in communication component 1.8.2:

  • The communication component did not clear last unsent DO signals in Mech-Viz before running the Mech-Viz project.
