This section describes how to configure the control logic for regular tools in the Tool Configuration window.

Please complete the Tool Configurations before you proceed. In the Tool Configuration window, set the Tool type to Regular tool and click Configure control logic for regular tool at the bottom to open the Regular Tool Configuration window.

General Tool Actions

Tool actions added to General tool actions can be applied to all tools. Three default action names, Change shape, General-place, and General-pick, are provided. The default action names can also be deleted or renamed.

  1. After clicking Add, enter the Action name in the pop-up window and click OK to add a new tool action.

  2. To delete an action, click Delete when the action under General tool action is selected. After a general tool action is deleted, all tool action configurations with that action become invalid.

  3. To rename a tool action, select the action under General tool action, click Rename, and enter the new Action name in the pop-up window.

Configuring DO

  1. After you select a tool action under General tool action, you can configure the DO for it.

  2. Click Save to save the tool action configuration.

Application Example

Once configured, you can select the tool action you want to perform in the Execute Tool Action Step. You can refer to the example project Auto-Switch Tool for details.
