Failed to Find a Step or a Step Parameter

Symptom:

A Step could not be found when the user searched for it in Step Library; or a parameter could not be found when the user searched for it in Step Parameters.

Affected Software Versions:

All Mech-Vision versions

Solution:

  • By default, the Step Library displays only the frequently used Steps. Some Steps are hidden. Please follow the steps below to search for hidden Steps:

    1. Click the icon filter_icon beside the search box in Step Library. When the icon is like filter_all, you check all the Steps in the library.

    2. Type the Step name in the search box and you will find the Step.

  • The Step Parameters panel displays frequently used parameters only. Some parameters are hidden. Please follow the steps below to find the hidden parameters:

    Right-click anywhere in the Step Parameters panel and select Show all parameters. Then you will find all the parameters of the Steps.
