Other Feature Management Operations

In the Feature area of the resource tree, click the feature overview entry to open the Feature Overview dialog box, where you can view the number of features of the current part and the quantity distribution of each type of feature.

In the resource tree, right-click a feature and then select Show or Hide to control the display status of the feature and its annotation in the 3D view.

In the resource tree, right-click a feature and then select Fit (or select the feature and press Ctrl+F), and the 3D view will be centered on the feature for quick locating and viewing.

In the resource tree, right-click a feature and then select Sort by ID, and the features in the resource tree will be re-arranged by feature ID.

A confirmation prompt will pop up. Click OK to perform the sorting.

When there are many features, you can group multiple features into one entity and manage them in a collapsed manner, so that you can quickly locate the required features in the resource tree.

Follow these steps to group features:

The grouped features are displayed as one group in the resource tree (the number of features in the group is displayed after the group name), and the group can be collapsed or expanded.

To ungroup features, right-click the group and then select Ungroup.

In the resource tree, right-click a part and then select Batch Export Features to export all created features of the part as a feature file for reuse in other projects.

You can also select File  Batch Export Features in the menu bar.

In the resource tree, right-click a part and then select Batch Import Features to select an exported feature file and batch create the features in the file.
