Issue 1: What Is the Relationship Between Mech-Metrics, Mech-MSR, and the Robot?

Q: What is the relationship between Mech-Metrics, Mech-MSR, and the robot?

A: Connection among the three:

  • The robot establishes a connection with Mech-MSR.

  • Mech-MSR establishes a connection with Mech-Metrics.

Usage process of the three:

  1. The robot runs the measurement program, which triggers Mech-Metrics to operate.

  2. Mech-Metrics uses Mech-MSR for measurement.

  3. Mech-MSR returns the measurement data to Mech-Metrics.

  4. Mech-Metrics sends the measurement result (OK or NG) back to the robot.

Issue 2: Does One Mech-Metrics Project Correspond to One Mech-MSR Solution?

Q: Does one Mech-Metrics project correspond to one Mech-MSR solution?

A: No. A Mech-Metrics part corresponds to a Mech-MSR solution. The correspondence between Mech-Metrics resources and Mech-MSR resources is shown in the figure below:

Issue 3: Does Mech-Metrics Support Using Multiple Robots for Measurement Simultaneously?

Q: Does Mech-Metrics support using multiple robots for measurement simultaneously?

A: Yes, Mech-Metrics supports simultaneous measurement with multiple robots. For example, two robots can measure opposite sides of a part simultaneously to improve efficiency.
