FANUC Error Messages
The following errors may occur while running the Standard Interface program on the robot.
Robot Internal Error
MM: Robot_Internal_Error

Cause: Error occurred while the robot program attempts to call the system function.

Troubleshooting: Please examine the program by referring to FANUC robot programming manual.
Communication Connection Error
MM: Robot_Socket_Closed

Cause: Error occurred when the robot program called the MSG_CONNECT procedure to establish communication.

Troubleshooting:

Check if the hardware is properly connected.

Check if the Standard Interface service (TCP HEX) is started in Mech-Vision.

Check the IP addresses of the robot and the IPC, and if the port number is configured correctly.

Check if the firewall is turned off on the IPC.

Procedure Argument Error
MM: Robot_Argument_Error

Cause: When calling a Mech-Mind Standard Interface procedure, arguments provided are not correct.

Troubleshooting: Please refer to FANUC Standard Interface Functions and input the correct arguments accordingly.
Interface Command Error
MM: Robot_CMD_Error

Cause: The command code returned to the robot does not match the one sent to Mech-Vision.

Troubleshooting: The sequence of command sending and receiving is problematic. Please contact Mech-Mind Technical Support for further assistance.
Status Code Error
MM: IPC_Return_Error

Cause: Returned status code is an error code. Please check the messages in the Console tab of Mech-Vision Log panel.
