Warm-Up Tool
This tool is used to warm up the laser profiler. If the laser profiler has not been used to acquire data for more than 90 minutes, you should warm up the laser profiler before acquiring data to ensure data accuracy.
Follow these steps to perform laser profiler warm-up:
-
Connect to the laser profiler.
-
Click Tools in the menu bar and select Warm-Up Tool.
-
In the sidebar on the right side of the Warm-Up Tool window, set the following parameters.
These parameters take effect only during the warm-up process. Adjusting the parameters does not affect the parameter settings in the main interface.
-
Warm-up time: Sets the total duration of the warm-up process.
-
Value range: 30-90 min
-
Default value (recommended): 30 min
-
-
Data acquisition interval: Sets the interval of triggering data acquisition. If a trigger signal is received during an ongoing round of data acquisition, it will be ignored by the device.
Warm up the device with the data acquisition interval in actual use. If the data acquisition interval in actual use is not fixed, it is recommended to warm up with the average data acquisition interval. For example, in actual use, data is acquired every 6 to 10 seconds, then during warm-up, data should be acquired every 8 seconds.
-
Value range: 3-30 s
-
Default value: 5 s
-
-
Scan line count: Sets the number of profiles needed to generate one intensity image / depth map.
-
Trigger rate: During the warm-up process, each line scan is triggered at a fixed rate. This parameter sets the trigger rate of the line scans.
-
ROI: Sets the ROI along the X-Z direction.
-
Click the Edit button to open the ROI edit tool.
-
Drag the ROI box border to adjust the ROI.
-
Click the confirm button to save the settings.
-
-
-
Click the Start warming up button to start warming up the laser profiler.
Click the Stop warming up button to stop warming up the laser profiler. Click the Start warming up button again to restart the warm-up time.
