Symptom

The camera is connected, but after clicking Continuous Acquisition, the live image is empty or completely black.

Possible Causes

  • Data acquisition trigger source is configured incorrectly.

  • If Data acquisition trigger source is configured correctly, external trigger signal may not be connected.

  • Exposure time is too short, resulting in a black image.

Solution

  • Check Data acquisition trigger source and ensure it matches the actual acquisition method (software trigger or external trigger).

  • If external trigger is used, confirm trigger cables are connected correctly and valid trigger signals are present.

  • Adjust Exposure time to an appropriate image brightness. If necessary, increase Gain moderately, but avoid excessive noise.
