DIN Rail Power Supply
In the 24 VDC power supply solution, the power module consists of the camera power cable and a DC power supply device (such as a DIN rail power supply). For the DC power supply device, the DIN rail power supply provided by Mech-Mind is recommended.
This section describes the technical specifications and usage notes of the DIN rail power supply provided by Mech-Mind.

Usage Notes
-
The DIN rail power supply must be installed inside a distribution cabinet.
-
The DIN rail power supply, or the DIN rail to which it is attached, must be reliably grounded. When multiple DIN rail power supplies are installed on the same rail, keep an appropriate spacing between them.
-
When connecting cables to the DIN rail power supply, follow the labels on the cables. The colors of the cores may vary between cable batches.
-
Apply power only after all cable connections are completed. After power is applied, the camera PWR indicator should be steady green. Otherwise, contact Mech-Mind Technical Support.
-
One DIN rail power supply can power multiple cameras simultaneously, which is suitable for scenarios where multiple cameras are installed together. Plan the load based on the total power consumption of the cameras and do not exceed the rated output power of the DIN rail power supply.
-
When a camera power cable longer than 20 m is used to connect the DIN rail power supply to the camera, increase the output voltage of the DIN rail power supply by 2 V (i.e., from 24 V to 26 V) to compensate for the voltage drop caused by long-distance transmission and ensure that the camera receives sufficient operating voltage.
Turn the ADJ button on the DIN rail power supply housing clockwise to adjust the output voltage to 26 V. After the adjustment, use a multimeter to measure the DC voltage at the output terminals of the DIN rail power supply (between -V and +V). If the voltage still does not reach 26 V after adjustment, contact Mech-Mind Technical Support or your local sales representative.
