Repair Viewer Manual

Welcome to the Repair Viewer manual!

The Repair Viewer is a plugin of Mech-Metrics that runs independently of the Mech-Metrics software. The Repair Viewer is typically deployed on the IPC of the repair station. It is used to display the measurement results and feature annotations of parts, helping repair operators quickly locate the defective items of a part and complete repair operations.

  • The IPC that runs the Mech-Metrics software is called the primary IPC, and the IPC that runs the Repair Viewer functions as a secondary IPC.

  • Before using the Repair Viewer, you need to enable the Repair Viewer plugin in the Mech-Metrics software on the primary IPC, and then configure and enable the Repair Viewer service. For detailed operations, see Enable the Repair Viewer.

To use the Repair Viewer on the secondary IPC, you need to create a configuration and connect to the primary IPC before performing subsequent operations such as adding views and feature annotations.
