Communication Configuration in Mech-MSR
This topic introduces how to set up data communication between a Mech-MSR and an external device through a standard or custom industrial communication protocol.
The Mech-MSR supports the following two communication modes:
-
Standard Communication Mode
You can establish a communication connection through a standard or custom industrial communication protocol, and use the Standard Interface commands or Adapter interfaces provided by Mech-Mind to exchange data. This method is applicable to the integration of most common industrial devices.
-
Custom Communication Mode
Establish the communication connection through standard or custom industrial communication protocols, and use mutually agreed data formats and parsing methods for data exchange. This mode is applicable to scenarios with special communication requirements or custom protocols.
You can click Communication Configuration on the software toolbar to view the current communication mode and switch communication modes in the Communication mode area.
