Duplicate Project
To reuse the project files and Step-related settings of the current project, use Duplicate Project to create an independent copy based on the current project.
Procedure

In the Project List, right-click the project to be copied, and then select Duplicate Project.

In the Duplicate Project window, enter the Copy name. By default, "_Copy" is appended to the original project name.

To copy project runtime data, select Include project runtime data.
Project runtime data refers to data generated and saved after data storage is enabled.
Project runtime data is copied with the project copy only when the data storage path is the
datafolder in the project directory. Data saved in other paths is not copied.To enable data storage, see Data Storage on the home interface or Production Data Storage on the production interface, depending on the usage scenario.

Click OK.
The software creates a copy of the project and adds it to the Project List of the current solution.
Notes

Creating a project copy does not copy files outside the project directory. If project Steps or Python scripts use such files or other absolute paths, check whether the paths remain valid after opening the copy.

If the project is running or its files are in use, stop the project and close the programs using the files before creating a copy.

Save the solution before duplicating the project. A project copy cannot be created for an unsaved solution.
