Symptom:

Mech-Vision 1.5.x ran projects that involved the old deep learning Step Deep Learning Inference (Mech-DLK 2.1.0/2.0.0), with the check box Autoload Project selected. When Mech-Vision 1.5.x was uninstalled and Mech-Vision 1.6.x was installed, Mech-Vision projects failed to be opened.

Affected Software Versions:

Mech-Vision 1.5.x

Possible Cause:

The file path of the deep learning model package that is used in the step :ref:`Deep Learning Inference (Mech-DLK 2.1.0/2.0.0) involves non-Latin characters, such as Chinese special and other special characters.

Solution:

Follow these steps to fix the issue:

  1. Change all the non-Latin characters in the file path of the deep learning model package into Latin characters.

  2. Re-set Model Package Path parameter for Step Deep Learning Inference (Mech-DLK 2.1.0/2.0.0).

Step “Deep Learning Inference (Mech-DLK 2.1.0/2.0.0)” is already out of maintenance. It is recommended to update the deep learning model to the latest version and use the latest deep learning inference step.
