Before You Upgrade
This section introduces the upgrade notes for Mech-DLK 2.6.0.
Software License Upgrade
Starting from Mech-DLK 2.6.0, Mech-Mind uses Sentinel LDK as its software license system. The relevant precautions are as follows.
-
Mech-DLK 2.6.0 cannot be opened with a software license of a previous version. Please contact Mech-Mind Technical Support to obtain a Sentinel LDK software license.
-
After using the new software license, Mech-DLK 2.5.3 and previous versions cannot be opened.
Compatibility between Different Versions of Mech-DLK
Please pay attention to the following issues when upgrading Mech-DLK from the previous version to 2.6.0.
-
When you use Mech-DLK 2.6.0 to open a project created with Mech-DLK of a previous version, all models within that project will be deleted. You need to re-confirm the parameters and train new models.
When you open a project, the system will prompt you to confirm the operation. Only after you confirm manually will the system open the project and delete the models. It is recommended to back up the project data before opening the project. -
When you use Mech-DLK 2.6.0, you can import data that is exported from projects created with previous versions.
Compatibility between Mech-DLK and Mech-Vision
-
Starting from Mech-Vision 2.0.0, only the Object Detection, Instance Segmentation, Classification, and Defect Segmentation model packages can be loaded in the Deep Learning Model Package Inference Step. The Unsupervised Segmentation, Fast Positioning, Text Detection, and Text Recognition model packages are no longer supported.
-
Starting from Mech-Vision 2.0.0, only model packages exported from Mech-DLK 2.4.1 or above can be loaded in the Deep Learning Model Package Inference Step.
-
Cascaded models exported from Mech-DLK 2.4.1 or later versions can only be used in Mech-Vision in version 1.7.2 or above, but below version 2.0.0.
