This topic describes the use of the Mech-DLK software license and troubleshooting for common issues.

License Introduction

Starting from version 2.6.0, Mech-Mind uses Sentinel LDK as its software license system. This license system supports the software licensing device and software licensing code encryption methods, and provides permanent and temporary licenses. Mech-Mind will determine the appropriate licensing method and assign a validity period based on your actual needs.

To use a software licensing device or software licensing code, first download and install Mech-DLK and the Sentinel LDK encryption driver on the IPC, then obtain the software license. The driver is included in the software installation package and will be automatically installed with the software.

  • Software licensing device: A USB-based licensing method that supports writing licenses for different software by using a product key. This device is similar to the dongle used in previous software versions.

  • Software licensing code: A virtual licensing method that supports writing licenses for different software by using a product key.

  • Permanent license: A license that allows for permanent use.

  • Temporary license: A license with a specified expiration date. You can update the license to extend the expiration date.
