Software License

This topic describes how to use the Mech-DLK SDK software license and troubleshoot common issues.

License Introduction

Starting from version 2.1.0, Mech-Mind uses Sentinel LDK as its software license system. This licensing system supports the software licensing device and software licensing code encryption methods, and provides permanent and temporary licenses. Mech-Mind will determine the appropriate licensing method and assign a validity period based on your actual needs.

To use a software licensing device or software licensing code, first download the Sentinel LDK encryption driver and install it on the IPC, then obtain the software license. If you have installed Mech-DLK, the encryption driver will be automatically installed and you do not need to install it again.

  • Software licensing device: A USB-based licensing method that supports writing licenses for different software by using a product key. This device is similar to the dongle used in previous software versions.

  • Software licensing code: A virtual licensing method that supports writing licenses for different software by using a product key.

  • Permanent license: A license that allows for permanent use.

  • Temporary license: A license with a specified expiration date. You can update the license to extend the expiration date.
