Typical Applications¶
Introduction¶
For various on-site applications, Mech-Vision provides some well established projects which can be used in different scenarios. You can use these typical application projects directly or modify them according to the on-site requirement to accomplish the vision tasks.
You can click on the Menu bar or click New Typical Application Project in the toolbar to create a new typical application project.
Typical Application Scenarios¶
Mech-Vision provides 4 typical application scenarios, which are Depalletizing, Machine Tending, Pick Anything, and High Precision Positioning.
Depalletizing¶
Projects of this scenario are used to depalletize cartons or sacks. The projects will detect cartons or sacks on the top layer and output the corresponding pick points. Please select projects of this scenario if you need to unload the cartons or sacks from the tray.
Machine Tending¶
Projects of this scenario are used for machine tending. The projects will detect the workpieces and output the pick points. Please select projects of this scenario if you need to pick workpieces in the tray or bin and place them at another work station.
Pick Anything¶
Projects of this scenario are used to pick and sort different objects which are stacked randomly. It can detect objects of different types and output the pick points. Please select projects of this scenario if you need to sort objects in a supermarket warehouse or sort parcels in logistics.
High Precision Positioning¶
Projects of this scenario are used to detect the precise position of objects of the same type. Please select projects of this scenario if you need to detect and position the workpieces precisely.
Create a Typical Application Project¶
You can select a proper typical application project according to the actual application scenario and specific requirement.
Select a Application Scenario first, and then select Specific Type. Name the project and select a Project Saving Directory to create a new typical application project.
