Start Your First Application

This topic will guide you through deploying the application of 3D vision guided workpiece loading with Mech-Mind Vision System.

This example will use the typical solution case of “General Workpiece Picking” in the solution library to picking of randomly stacked brake discs. The following materials are used in this example:

  • Camera: Mech-Eye PRO M camera, mounted in Eye to Hand mode

  • IPC: Standard IPC provided by Mech-Mind, which has installed the latest version of Mech-Mind software suite. If you use your own device as an IPC, please refer to IPC Setup to configure your IPC.

  • Robot: ABB_IRB_120_3_0_6

  • Workpiece: brake disc, stacked randomly
