Use Mech-Mind Vision System

To use Mech-Mind Vision System, you need to:

  1. Construct Mech-Mind Vision System.

You should follow the procedure: Check package contents -> Install hardware -> Connect components of Mech-Mind Vision System -> Connect network -> Install software -> Confirm that Mech-Mind Vision System can capture images normally. For details, refer to Construct Mech-Mind Vision System.

  2. Deploy the vision solution.

The deployment of the vision solution can be divided into five phases, as shown below.

    1. Create a solution: In this phase, you need to create a vision solution. If you are using Mech-Mind Vision System for the first time, it is recommended to select a suitable solution from the solution library for quick deployment. When you become familiar with Mech-Mind Vision System, you can create more complex vision solutions from scratch.

    2. Configure robot and communication: The application of a vision solution requires that the robot should communicate with the vision side normally. In this phase, you need to complete the communication configuration on the vision side, the communication configuration on the robot side, and test that both ends can communicate normally.

    3. Complete robot hand-eye calibration: The results of robot hand-eye calibration directly determine the accuracy of vision-guided picking or other operations. At this stage, you can perform the robot hand-eye calibration after the configuration of the communication between the robot side and the vision side is completed.

    4. Debug and optimize the solution: Adjust and optimize the solution and step parameters according to the actual requirements of the project, and run the simulation to confirm the effect.

    5. Pick: Prepare the robot program and run it. The robot performs precise picking under the guidance of Mech-Mind Vision System.

The Starting Your First Application section will guide you through constructing Mech-Mind Vision System and perform your first pick.
