Axis Z Downward for Poses of Some Workobjects (Pointing to the Ground)¶

Symptom:

The axis Z of some workobjects’ poses pointed downward (to the ground). In actual picking scenarios, the axis Z of all workobjects should be pointing upward.

Affected Software Versions:

All Mech-Vision versions

Possible Cause:

The axis Z was not corrected before pose output.

Solution:

Follow these steps to fix the issue:

Add Step Flip Poses’ Axes and get its input port and output port properly connected.

Select Positive for Direction in the Axis Settings of the Step.

Hint

Axis to Flip defaults to Z, and Reference Axis to Rotate Around defaults to X. No adjustment is needed.

Execute the single Step or the entire project, and the issue will be fixed.
