Resources

Resources in Mech-Viz include the robot, tools, workobjects, and scene objects, which are fundamental to a project.

Configuration of the Resources

Please read the following sections to learn about how to configure the resources in the project.

By right-clicking the project name, you can open the project folder, set the project to autoload, and backup the current project.

Note of the Models

If you want to import models from outside the software for the project resources (robot, tools, workobject, scene object, etc), you should import both the visualization model and collision model.

  • Visualization model: Only used for visualization in the 3D simulation area, and will not be used for collision detection.

  • Collision model: Only used for collision detection, and will not be displayed in the 3D simulation area.
