Built-In Tools

Mech-Eye Viewer comes with built-in tools that can be accessed from the Tools menu.

Tool	Description
Intrinsic Parameter Tool	Check whether the camera’s intrinsic parameters are consistent with the factory settings.
Exposure Assistant	Obtain recommended values for 3D Parameters.
Depth Analyzer	Check the imaging quality by checking the depth fluctuation along the selected section.
Check and Configure 2D Camera	View and set parameters of the 2D camera(s).
Camera Firmware Upgrade	Update camera firmware.
FOV Calculator	Calculate the camera’s FOV based on the selected working distance.
Custom Coordinate System	Set a custom reference frame for displaying the depth data of the depth map and point cloud.
Camera Controller	View camera type, date and time, CPU temperature and projector temperature, etc.
Full Pallet Simulator	Check if the top layer of a full palletized load is within the camera’s FOV.

Check the Toolbar option in the View menu to display the toolbar that provide quick access to frequently used tools.

You can display/hide the tools in toolbar by clicking More Tools. To display a tool in the toolbar, check the box in front of it; to hide, uncheck the box. Click OK to save the changes.
